„Hiroshima’s Message for Tech Students and Innovators Today“ features Setsuko Thurlow, a Japanese Canadian nuclear disarmament campaigner who survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on 6 August 1945. She co-accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017 on behalf of ICAN and has since remained an impactful advocate for nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.
Ms. Thurlow reflects on her experiences through her thought-provoking keynote, followed by a screening of „The Vow from Hiroshima.“ This event will conclude with a brief Q&A, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with Ms. Thurlow’s message and experiences.
