A demonstration against the budget of social cuts and rearmament will take place on 10 June 2026, beginning in Christian-Boda-Platz and ending in Heldenplatz.

On 10 July 2026, the federal government intends to have the National Council approve a new budget of drastic social cuts that prioritizes corporations and militarization over climate protection and our welfare state.

The Finance Minister will be delivering a budget speech in the National Council on 10 June 2026, which is when we will know the exact location. The goal of the demonstration is to show the government what we think of the budget before it is passed.
