On 22 June 2026, UNODA is holding a panel discussion event to explore what is next in disarmament and offer a look ahead at the Vienna International Centre.

Ms. Izumi Nakamitsu, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs, will be visiting to speak at this event, joined by H.E. Ambassador George-Wilhelm Gallhofer, Ms. Gaukhar Mukhatzhanova, and moderated by Ms. Rebecca Jovin. There will be a Multistakeholder Panel Discussion with moderated Q&A to delve into the future of multilateralism and disarmament instruments and reflect on the future of disarmament and non-proliferation.
