On 17 June 2026, Setsuko Thurlow will deliver a keynote address at TOP Kino. This will be followed by a screening of „The Vow from Hiroshima“ and will conclude with a Q&A, where guests can speak with Ms. Thurlow and filmmakers Mitchie Takeuchi and Susan Strickler.

„The Vow from Hiroshima“ presents an intimate portrait of Setsuko Thurlow, a survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bomb. This event allows attendees to directly engage with a survivor’s testimony and take part in an open dialogue about the human impact of nuclear warfare.
