Am 26. September findet der Internationale Tag für die vollständige Abschaffung aller Atomwaffen der UNO statt. Der Versöhnungsbund, ICAN Austria, IPPNW und die Wiener Friedensbewegung veranstalten anlässlich dieses Tages eine Mahnwache für die Abschaffung aller Atomwaffen und eine diplomatische Lösung der Krise in Nordostasien. The Peace Prize Ceremony will take place in Oslo city hall. Only a very few number of invited guest are allowed to participate here, but the ceremony will be live streamed to an overflow event just next to the city hall. This is for everyone who are in Oslo and want to watch the ceremony together.

There will be a torchlight procession in honor of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winner from the Oslo Central Station to Grand Hotel. It starts at 17.30 at Central Station and is finished around 19.15. This will be the main event that will take place during the weekend, and our ICAN partners in Oslo plan on making it the largest torchlight procession in Nobel history. The Nobel Peace Prize concert is the annual concert in honor of the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. It is an amazing music show which also focus on highlighting this year's winner. The Concert takes place at Telenor Arena. There will be Shuttle Buses taking you there from Oslo at 16.00. The doors open at 15.15, loses at 18.45 and the show ends at 21.30.
